Program

The Younger Longer 28-Day Mediterranean Diet Challenge, presented by Dr Antigone Kouris, is a practical and inspiring four-week journey designed to help participants adopt one of the world’s most respected eating patterns for long-term health and vitality. Grounded in the traditional dietary and lifestyle habits of Mediterranean countries such as Greece, Italy and Spain with a special focus on the traditional Cretan eating patterns, the challenge explores the key principles of this way of eating, including a strong focus on vegetables, fruit, legumes, wholegrains, olive oil, fish, fresh herbs and other minimally processed foods. Across 28 days, participants are guided through simple, achievable daily lessons and challenges that encourage healthier choices, such as reducing processed foods and red meat, increasing plant-based meals, cooking more at home, eating seasonally and embracing mindful, social eating. More than just a nutrition program, this challenge highlights the Mediterranean lifestyle as a holistic approach to healthy ageing. Under Dr Kouris’s guidance, participants are encouraged to see food as both nourishment and enjoyment, while also embracing regular movement, hydration, community connection, meal sharing and other positive daily habits that support wellbeing. With its combination of evidence-informed education, practical action steps and a strong focus on sustainability rather than restriction, the challenge helps participants build realistic habits that can support heart health, energy, mood, weight management and longevity well beyond the 28 days.
